Mandi and John grab some suspicious meats and put a sock monkey in their backpacks for 2021’s ANTLERS. Death comes to a dying Oregon mining town as horrifically mutilated bodies are being found. As the sheriff and his sister search for answers, they find the murders may involve a small boy and his missing family. Can they (and we) delve into terror while dodging apathetic civil authorities, revenge dog doo and some impressive practical effects? 

John and Mandi get out their Super 8 editing equipment and put up for a movie screen to watch 2012’s SINISTER. When a true crime author moves into to the home of a murdered family, he hopes the terrifying events he begins to experience will be his ticket to a new bestseller. But after finding a strange box of old movies in his attic, things take a turn for the worse. Can he (and we) type on through confusingly placed dogs, slow-mo children and predator blood coffee?  

Mandi and John put on their most terrible brown wigs for a request of 1987’s SUMMER CAMP NIGHTMARE. When kids take over their summer camp, everyone thinks it’ll be a great time. But as the body count rises and terrible acts are committed, the dream turns into a nightmare. Can the campers (and we) revolt through camp mail censorship, immoral television repair, and beef bologna?  

John and Mandi celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of their favorite 90’s movie, 1997’s THE RELIC. When murders are discovered at a prestigious museum, the police are called in to hunt down the criminal. But when the deaths become more bizarre, an evolutionary biologist’s terrible findings may shed light on the creature stalking them. Can she (and we) process through obnoxious gerbils, football bugs, improperly used liquid nitrogen and the rhino soup bucket? 

Mandi and John end out OG January with perhaps the most well-known slasher, 1978’s HALLOWEEN. The murderer who terrorized a small Illinois town is back 15 years later to start the killing up again, deciding to focus on the first girls he set eyes on. Can his teenaged targets survive the night against weaponized wire hangers, the butteriest of butterfingers, and the bespectacled Bob?

John and Mandi continue OG January by watching the movie that launched a thousand bad dreams: 1984’s A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. Brew your strongest coffee and get ready to never sleep again as the burned man in stripes slays his way through the children of the people who put him in the ground the first time. Can the kids (and we) stay awake through hole-y bed blenders, snake inspired sheets, and dancing on the ceiling gone horribly wrong? 

Mandi and John continue OG January with the film that made us fear fiends in hockey masks: 1980’s FRIDAY THE 13TH. The classic tale of summer love at camp and the consequences thereafter. Can the plucky young teens who don’t deserve it (and Ned, who totally does) survive through a dark and stormy night to NOT use the 30 or so rifles to save them against history’s most turtlenecked slasher villain?

John and Mandi start the New Year off right by looking back to the movies that helped make us, starting with 1987’s HELLRAISER. A strange puzzle box opens a world of terrors for a young woman and her family. Can she (and we) puzzle our way through creepy uncles, surprise hammers and the best and goopiest resurrection ever?

ESat3am clean up the wrapping paper and put the leftovers in the fridge for this year’s after Christmas fright fest, 2015’s A CHRISTMAS HORROR STORY. Some horrifyingly ghoulish tales of merry mayhem all interspersed with the holiday musings of the most dangerous dj ever. Can he, they (and we) walk through this winter wonderland full of zombie elves, fork stabbing changelings, chain wielding Krampuses and ax fighting Santas?

John and Mandi strap on their snowshoes and drink some kombucha for 2021’s WEREWOLVES WITHIN. After his first day in a new town, a ranger and his new neighbors are snowed in. But when all the generators in town are destroyed and strange disappearances begin, it becomes clear something unnatural maybe in their midst. Can they (and we) contend with knife fingered truck drivers, maple tap wielding crafters and door shooting environmentalists?
