SCORE FOR: FAKING A MURDERER

After using cutting edge science and state of the art technology we have thrown all that away and just went with a short grading system to see how we feel about the show!

FAKING A MURDERER

Mandi

Visuals: 4/5
Story: 3/5
Scare Factor: 1/5
Overall: 4/5

Feelings: More of a comedy with horror elements then a straight out horror but good twist and the ending really grabbed me.

John

Visuals: 2/5
Story: 3/5
Scare Factor: 2/5
Overall: 3/5

Feelings: Closer to a comedy especially the credit sequence. Really good twist near the end and the effects were pretty good considering they were doing them in a found footage/documentary style.

FINAL RATING: 2.75/5

UPDATED BRACKETS: TELLURIDE HORROR SHOW

After looking again we were pleasantly surprised to see that we missed two other films at the Telluride Horror Show 2020:

Reunion

A pregnant woman returns to her recently-deceased grandparents’ old family home to spend time with her estranged mother. What begins as a tenuous reunion slowly turns terrifying.

A psychological thriller that preys upon perception, Reunion sees veteran actress Julia Ormond deliver a tour-de-force performance of threateningly quiet intensity and features a twisty narrative that will burrow itself into the darkest corners of your mind

AND

Possessor

From the visionary mind of writer/director Brandon Cronenberg, POSSESSOR is an arresting sci-fi thriller about elite, corporate assassin Tasya Vos. Using brain-implant technology, Vos takes control of other people’s bodies to execute high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her.

These only open the 18th, the last day of the show so you STILL HAVE TIME! As such, we’ve added them to our brackets!
